A private goals & strategy call with Natalie, plus an invitation to record with Natalie in New York City on February 3, 2027.
Only for students who enroll before November 1, 2026. This particular two-bonus enrollment offer will not be repeated.
You know how to practice. But when you sit down to improvise, reimagine a song, or bring an idea to life, your hands may not yet follow your ears. That gap is what we work on in The Complete Piano Method.
SEE HOW YOUR 14 WEEKS WORK →Come work through your own music with a clear plan. Over 14 weeks, I’ll guide you through the method I developed from my Juilliard training and professional work: build technique you can use, transcribe and experiment with ideas, create an arrangement, and work toward a finished recording. You’ll have a structured weekly path, assignments, a place to share your progress, and optional live group Q&As and feedback opportunities with me.
One musical project. A connected method. Real work at the piano. Start November 1 or later, with lifetime access to the recorded curriculum.
My invitation to you: Bring your ideas and musical ambitions. I’ll bring the method I spent my life developing, a clear sequence of work, and opportunities to get guidance along the way.
From my studio to yours: the skills behind the music.

Maybe you can learn a difficult piece, explain the harmony and practice your scales. But when you want to make your own version of a song, you reach for the same familiar voicings.
You hear a new texture, phrase or chord color in a recording and wish you could find it instantly on the keyboard.
That is not a shortage of musical ambition. It’s a missing connection between your hands, ears and imagination.
TCPM teaches you how to connect those skills using actual music you want to make.
Instead of practicing another exercise without a clear destination, you’ll know which technique, listening or arranging skill will help your next musical idea take shape.
Your practice has a purpose. Your choices get broader. And you have a process for finishing what you start.

Hi, I’m Natalie Tenenbaum, a Juilliard-trained pianist, composer and arranger. Before my career took me to concert stages, Broadway and recording studios, tendinitis in both arms left me unable to play for a year and a half.
I had to start again from scratch. Through a unique technical methodology, I rebuilt the way I approached the instrument—and within a year of starting over, I was accepted to Juilliard on a scholarship.

But as a classical pianist, I wanted more than the ability to play what was on the page. I wanted to expand my harmonic language, develop my ears, and become fluent enough to find an idea at the piano, improvise, arrange and adapt.
That work helped me move between Carnegie Hall, Broadway, jazz festivals, recording studios and original music—and create arrangements for artists including Lang Lang.

Each of those settings asked something different of me. I needed to understand why a piece of music worked, hear possibilities beyond the familiar, and turn an idea in my head into something I could actually perform.
Reliable technique. A broad musical vocabulary. And the ability to turn an idea into finished music.

That’s the way I approach teaching, too. Becoming a more complete pianist is about being able to use what you know to make the music you want to make—with a clear, practical way to develop the skills that get you there.
And that’s what became The Complete Piano Method.
Imagine taking one song you love and creating an arrangement that actually sounds like you. Technique, listening, improvisation, arranging, performance and recording support the same musical goal—not six unrelated practice tasks.
↻ Each skill feeds the next—and sends you back to practice with a more specific purpose.
Hear a phrase you love → find it by ear → adapt its harmony → practice the exact technical move you need → build your own arrangement → perform and record a version that feels like yours.
Here’s the difference: if your arrangement needs a smoother left-hand pattern, that becomes your technique assignment. If you hear an interesting chord in another recording, you transcribe it, experiment with it and use it in your arrangement. Every skill has a musical destination.

You choose a song, develop your own version, use a clearer practice plan to solve the problems it reveals, and work toward sharing a recording. The goal isn’t to consume more lessons. It’s to create something you can hear and build on.
Instead of repeating everything you already know, you identify the exact movement, voicing or listening task that helps your piece progress.
You hear an idea, find it by ear, explore variations and use harmony and texture to shape your own arrangement.
You work toward an arrangement, a performance and a recording—not perfection, but a meaningful project you can keep developing.
A Juilliard-trained pianist, composer, arranger and music director whose work connects technique, improvisation and a wide-ranging musical language.
Natalie has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Apollo Theater, Madison Square Garden and Vienna’s Musikverein. Her work spans concert stages, Broadway, recording studios and original music.
She has created arrangements for Lang Lang and Itzhak Perlman, with additional credits including Pentatonix, The Great Gatsby on Broadway, American Utopia and vocal arrangements for Mean Girls.
She gives masterclasses at universities and conservatories around the world and is regularly invited to serve on the juries of piano competitions.
Her teaching brings that experience to your piano: developing reliable technique, a broader musical vocabulary and the confidence to turn your ideas into finished music.
Bring a specific question about technique, harmony or the music you’re creating. Join when useful or watch available replays. Standard does not include unlimited private lessons.
Share your work-in-progress through the program’s feedback opportunities. Get direction on what to refine or practice next, depending on the support available during your enrollment.
Follow the lessons, set weekly goals, log practice and see what to work on next.
Post works in progress, learn from other pianists, and stay accountable to the music you want to finish.

One connected 14-week program with focused weekly work, guided exercises, creative assignments, feedback opportunities and ways to keep growing after the 14 weeks are over.
My own education at Juilliard and beyond was a major investment of time and money.
I created TCPM to make the specific connection between technique, ear training, improvisation and arranging more accessible—without requiring years of conservatory tuition.
You’re not purchasing a degree, and no course can promise a particular result. You’re investing in a structured way to develop your skills around real musical projects, with opportunities to ask questions and receive guidance from me.
You’ve seen how the method works, how the 14 weeks unfold, what students create and what support is included. Here is the full enrollment investment.
14 weeks of structured, applied learning—with guidance along the way.
Traditional conservatory study can be extraordinary—and it can involve years of tuition. This program is different: a focused path through the exact connection between technique, listening, improvisation and creating finished music.
Study my approach, apply it to your own project and bring your questions into our group learning opportunities, for a fraction of the cost of a multi-year conservatory education.
Lifetime access to recorded core curriculum and advanced recorded courses · Weekly group Q&A opportunities · Practice tools and included bonuses

Application required. Private-session frequency, support duration and studio participation are confirmed individually. Refund guarantees apply under their published terms.

7-day unconditional money-back guarantee. If you decide the program is not right for you, submit a written refund request through your program support contact within 7 calendar days of your individual program start date. No practice, assignments, or call attendance are required.
This 7-day guarantee applies to both The Complete Piano Method and Inner Circle. It is separate from the conditional 30-day guarantee below.
An additional, separate 30-day refund option. If you actively participate and still find the program is not the right fit, you may request a refund within 30 calendar days of your individual program start date.
To qualify, you must: (1) complete the lessons and practice assignments released to you during your first 30 days; (2) submit your work, assignments, or practice records showing completion; and (3) attend the weekly live Q&A calls offered during that period, or make-up sessions expressly approved by the program. Submit your written request and supporting evidence through your program support contact within the 30-day window.
Important: Live Q&A attendance is optional for normal program participation, but is required to qualify for this extended guarantee. The 30-day guarantee does not replace or restrict your separate unconditional 7-day refund right. Both periods begin on your individual program start date.
TCPM is designed for intermediate to advanced pianists who can already play music at the piano and want to expand their technique and creative freedom. You don’t need to be confident in improvisation or arranging—that’s part of what you’ll study. If you’re a complete beginner, this isn’t the starting point.
Yes. The important starting point is your playing level and interest in developing your musicianship. Serious amateur pianists can work toward the same creative goals alongside working musicians.
That is one of the gaps the method addresses. You’ll work on connecting your existing control to melodic, harmonic and rhythmic choices without relying on a fully written score.
You don’t need to become a social-media creator. Recording helps you hear your progress and finish musical work. You can keep those recordings private, use them in a portfolio, or share them when you want to.
Plan to make regular time at the piano and time for the assignments. The amount depends on your starting point and project. Short, focused sessions can support progress; more ambitious arrangements need additional work. You can start when you choose, set your own pace, and use the optional live calls when they fit your schedule.
You need access to a piano or keyboard and a way to watch the lessons. Joining live online calls is optional. A phone can be a practical starting point for documenting your playing. The Ableton live-looping training requires Ableton Live and a compatible setup; software and equipment purchases are separate.
The course explores technique, harmony, rhythm, listening and arranging—skills you can bring into classical, jazz, pop and your own original music. Your repertoire and projects give you a place to apply them.
You can use TCPM alongside private lessons. It adds a connected path through creative skills and projects that you can also discuss with your teacher.
You can complete the $1,997 curriculum on your own timeline. Optional weekly Q&A calls with Natalie are an included bonus, along with workshops and feedback opportunities. Watch available replays if you cannot attend live.
You keep lifetime access to the recorded Core Curriculum, including future additions, and the recorded advanced bonus courses. Optional live calls, feedback, community, workshops and app support are available under the program’s applicable support-access terms.
Enroll before November 1, 2026 to receive an invitation to record with Natalie in New York City on February 3, 2027. For students with a confirmed studio place, professional studio, audio-recording and video-production costs, including recording with Natalie, are covered by enrollment. This is a limited-capacity experience: an invitation is not a reserved recording slot, and participation requires scheduling and written confirmation. Please confirm before making travel plans. Travel, lodging and ground transportation are not included. This particular two-bonus Standard-enrollment offer will not be repeated.
There are two separate refund options, both measured from your individual program start date. Within 7 days: request a refund in writing for any reason, without assignments or call attendance. Within 30 days: a conditional do-the-work refund is available if you complete the lessons and assignments released during that period, provide evidence of your work, and attend the weekly Q&A calls offered (or approved make-ups). Submit your written request and evidence by day 30. Live calls are otherwise optional. See the full guarantee terms below.
You can spend them playing the same things, practicing the same way, and wondering why you're not progressing.
Or you can spend them building the technique, musical freedom, and creative skills you've been wanting for years—with a clear path, expert feedback, and a community that helps you follow through.
The time will pass. What you do with it is up to you.
