You can play the notes. But can you sit down and create the music you hear in your head? Maybe your technique holds you back, your improvisation feels predictable, or you know countless exercises yet struggle to turn them into confident, expressive playing. You don’t need more disconnected piano tips. You need a way to bring everything together.
YES — I’M READY TO TRANSFORM MY PLAYING →The Complete Piano Method brings together the techniques I developed through my Juilliard training and professional career into a focused 14-week experience. You’ll work on your own musical ideas, build an arrangement, and develop the technical and creative tools to bring it to life—with optional live group Q&As, project feedback and workshops for guidance along the way. This is a serious program for pianists who already play, not a beginner course.
Begin when you choose · Your 14-week path · Optional live group guidance · Lifetime recorded lessons
Two ways to enroll with confidence: a 7-day unconditional refund, plus a separate 30-day do-the-work guarantee (requires completed released lessons and assignments, evidence of your work, and attendance at offered weekly Q&As or approved make-ups). Both periods run from your individual program start date. See full terms.
See the musical freedom you’re working toward.

Maybe you’ve been playing for years. You understand theory and harmony. You may already perform, teach, compose or work professionally.
And yet, you sit down to play and your hands keep reaching for the same familiar shapes, voicings and patterns.
You hear an arrangement you love and think, “I wish I could do that.”
You hear something in your head, but you can’t quite find it on the keys.
You know you’re capable of more—but you’re not always sure what to practice to actually get there.
So you keep practicing. You learn another piece. Try another exercise. Watch another lesson.
And you get better at the things you already know how to do, but the music that feels just outside your reach stays outside your reach.
Your current musical vocabulary doesn’t have to define the rest of your playing.
You need to expand what your hands, ears and mind can draw from—so when you hear something you want to play, arrange or create, you have more ways to get there.

Hi, I’m Natalie Tenenbaum, a Juilliard-trained pianist, composer and arranger. Before my career took me to concert stages, Broadway and recording studios, tendinitis in both arms left me unable to play for a year and a half.
I had to start again from scratch. Through a unique technical methodology, I rebuilt the way I approached the instrument—and within a year of starting over, I was accepted to Juilliard on a scholarship.

But as a classical pianist, I wanted more than the ability to play what was on the page. I wanted to expand my harmonic language, develop my ears, and become fluent enough to find an idea at the piano, improvise, arrange and adapt.
That work helped me move between Carnegie Hall, Broadway, jazz festivals, recording studios and original music—and create arrangements for artists including Lang Lang.

Each of those settings asked something different of me. I needed to understand why a piece of music worked, hear possibilities beyond the familiar, and turn an idea in my head into something I could actually perform.
Reliable technique. A broad musical vocabulary. And the ability to turn an idea into finished music.

That’s the way I approach teaching, too. Becoming a more complete pianist is about being able to use what you know to make the music you want to make—with a clear, practical way to develop the skills that get you there.
And that’s what became The Complete Piano Method.
The Complete Piano Method develops six areas of your musicianship that work together to help you hear more possibilities, find them on the keys, make them your own, and turn them into finished music.

Set meaningful goals and build a clear, sustainable practice strategy.
Develop control and confidence through targeted exercises and guided application.
Learn to transcribe efficiently and integrate musical language into your playing.
Expand your melodic, rhythmic and harmonic vocabulary through free and structured exploration.
Follow the process of building your own arrangement through reharmonization, structure and creativity.
Record and share your music effectively, with accountability and a repeatable schedule.

Build control and efficient movement, then put that control into phrasing, voicing and the sound you want.
Explore melody, harmony and rhythm so you can respond to an idea instead of needing every note written down.
Listen closely to music you love, work out what makes it compelling, and bring those sounds into your own playing.
Bring your technique, listening, improvisation and arranging together into one musical project.
Prepare the work to be heard. Practice carrying your musical choices into a complete, expressive performance.
Capture what you’ve built. Learn a repeatable way to finish, record and share—or keep a record of your own progress.
You revisit the connections as the work develops. A technical obstacle in an arrangement becomes something specific to practice. A sound you hear becomes something to explore. Your practice has a musical reason.

You know what you’re practicing and why. You can develop an idea instead of abandoning it. You’ve worked toward an arrangement that’s yours, and a recording that lets you hear how far you’ve come.
Your technique serves the music. You have more choices in harmony, texture and phrasing—and a way to keep exploring them.
Take the song, arrangement or project you’ve kept putting off and work through it with a clearer plan and feedback along the way.
Build confidence through preparation, playing for others, and recording the work. Sharing becomes a step you can practice, rather than a test you keep postponing.
A Juilliard-trained pianist, composer, arranger and music director whose work connects technique, improvisation and a wide-ranging musical language.
Natalie has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Apollo Theater, Madison Square Garden and Vienna’s Musikverein. Her work spans concert stages, Broadway, recording studios and original music.
She has created arrangements for Lang Lang and Itzhak Perlman, with additional credits including Pentatonix, The Great Gatsby on Broadway, American Utopia and vocal arrangements for Mean Girls.
She gives masterclasses at universities and conservatories around the world and is regularly invited to serve on the juries of piano competitions.
Her teaching brings that experience to your piano: developing reliable technique, a broader musical vocabulary and the confidence to turn your ideas into finished music.
Join whenever it helps. Bring your questions, pieces or arrangements to optional live calls, or simply watch the replays. You never have to attend to follow the curriculum.
Get another set of ears on your work while it’s developing. Refine the harmony, phrasing or approach instead of getting stuck with the first version.
Keep your practice plan, assignments and progress in one place. Spend less time deciding where to begin and more time playing.
Share what you’re making, hear how other pianists approach the same ideas, and find encouragement when a project gets difficult.
Explore musical topics in more depth, ask questions, and bring fresh ideas back into your own playing.
Build a habit of finishing and documenting music. You can make recordings for yourself, a portfolio or an audience—you don’t need to become a social-media creator.
Explore how to build layers and a live performance setup when you want to take your music beyond solo acoustic piano.
Your enrollment includes two complete advanced courses with lifetime recorded access, Natalie’s original arrangement scores and practice resources, and Ableton Live training with the CSAL live-looping plugin. A focused 14-week development experience, with weekly practice direction, creative assignments, feedback opportunities and the advanced resources to keep growing long after the program.
I am doing this on purpose.
My years of training at Juilliard and with leading musicians were invaluable. They also taught me how expensive traditional music education can be—and how much focused work it takes to connect technique to the creative skills you actually want to use.
Some programs separate technique, ear training, improvisation, arranging and recording into entirely different tracks. I wanted to make those skills part of one practical approach, so each new idea leads somewhere musical.
That’s why TCPM is built as one connected 14-week journey, with creative assignments, ways to get feedback and lifetime access to the recorded curriculum. Here’s the investment.
Traditional universities and conservatories can involve years of tuition costing tens of thousands of dollars. Those programs can be valuable, but they are not always designed to connect technique, transcription, improvisation, arranging, performance and recording into one focused, practical experience for the pianist you are today.
For $1,997, you can study my Juilliard-informed methodology through one connected 14-week program, with creative projects, opportunities for feedback, optional live group guidance and lifetime access to the recorded lessons. A fraction of the tuition commitment of a multi-year degree, focused on the musical skills you want to develop now.

7-day unconditional money-back guarantee. If you decide the program is not right for you, submit a written refund request through your program support contact within 7 calendar days of your individual program start date. No practice, assignments, or call attendance are required.
This 7-day guarantee applies to both The Complete Piano Method and Inner Circle. It is separate from the conditional 30-day guarantee below.
An additional, separate 30-day refund option. If you actively participate and still find the program is not the right fit, you may request a refund within 30 calendar days of your individual program start date.
To qualify, you must: (1) complete the lessons and practice assignments released to you during your first 30 days; (2) submit your work, assignments, or practice records showing completion; and (3) attend the weekly live Q&A calls offered during that period, or make-up sessions expressly approved by the program. Submit your written request and supporting evidence through your program support contact within the 30-day window.
Important: Live Q&A attendance is optional for normal program participation, but is required to qualify for this extended guarantee. The 30-day guarantee does not replace or restrict your separate unconditional 7-day refund right. Both periods begin on your individual program start date.
No. The Complete Piano Method is designed for intermediate and advanced pianists who already have a foundation at the keyboard. You don't need to be an expert in improvisation or arranging—that's exactly what you'll develop—but this is not a beginner's first piano course.
Yes. The important starting point is your playing level and interest in developing your musicianship. Serious amateur pianists can work toward the same creative goals alongside working musicians.
That is one of the gaps the method addresses. You’ll work on connecting your existing control to melodic, harmonic and rhythmic choices without relying on a fully written score.
You don’t need to become a social-media creator. Recording helps you hear your progress and finish musical work. You can keep those recordings private, use them in a portfolio, or share them when you want to.
Plan to make regular time at the piano and time for the assignments. The amount depends on your starting point and project. Short, focused sessions can support progress; more ambitious arrangements need additional work. You can start when you choose, set your own pace, and use the optional live calls when they fit your schedule.
You need access to a piano or keyboard and a way to watch the lessons. Joining live online calls is optional. A phone can be a practical starting point for documenting your playing. The Ableton live-looping training requires Ableton Live and a compatible setup; software and equipment purchases are separate.
The course explores technique, harmony, rhythm, listening and arranging—skills you can bring into classical, jazz, pop and your own original music. Your repertoire and projects give you a place to apply them.
You can use TCPM alongside private lessons. It adds a connected path through creative skills and projects that you can also discuss with your teacher.
You can complete the $1,997 curriculum on your own timeline. Optional weekly Q&A calls with Natalie are an included bonus, along with workshops and feedback opportunities. Watch available replays if you cannot attend live.
You keep lifetime access to the recorded Core Curriculum, including future additions, and the recorded advanced bonus courses. Optional live calls, feedback, community, workshops and app support are available under the program’s applicable support-access terms.
No. NYC recording sessions are a potential experience for selected Inner Circle members only, subject to scheduling, studio capacity, and individual confirmation. A studio place is never guaranteed by joining. Travel and accommodation are not included.
There are two separate refund options, both measured from your individual program start date. Within 7 days: request a refund in writing for any reason, without assignments or call attendance. Within 30 days: a conditional do-the-work refund is available if you complete the lessons and assignments released during that period, provide evidence of your work, and attend the weekly Q&A calls offered (or approved make-ups). Submit your written request and evidence by day 30. Live calls are otherwise optional. See the full guarantee terms below.
You can spend them playing the same things, practicing the same way, and wondering why you're not progressing.
Or you can spend them building the technique, musical freedom, and creative skills you've been wanting for years—with a clear path, expert feedback, and a community that helps you follow through.
The time will pass. What you do with it is up to you.
MAKE THE NEXT 14 WEEKS COUNT →
Instead of simply accumulating more practice hours, spend the next 14 weeks focused on expanding what you can actually do at the piano—with new sounds under your fingers, a broader musical vocabulary, arrangements you’ve made your own, and music you’ve taken all the way to performance.
The Complete Piano Method gives you the path.
You choose how closely you want to work with Natalie along the way.

The complete 14-week piano experience · Real projects, optional group guidance and lifetime recorded lessons
The Complete Piano Method: $1,997 enrollment.
